My Top 5′s
Hottest male tennis players
I thought about it long and hard (no weird sexual pun intended
). I managed to narrow down my list to 7 guys, but when it came down to ranking the top 5 among them, it was impossible, I don’t care what Adidas says
So, I kept all 7 guys and the no. 1 and no. 2 spots will feature 2 players each
Here goes:
1. Tommy Haas and Marat Safin
Haas may be an A-class ass-hole, but dahahahaaaamn look at that face and look at that six-pack. That is what I call the whole package.
What can I say about Marat. He’s just purrrfect. ‘Nuf said
2. Jose “Chucho” Acasuso and Simone Bolelli
My boy Jose over here is quite the Latin hottie. I mean you could grate cheese on those abs
This Italian piece of art has long lived in the shadows, because he used to sport a fugly ponytail. Thankfully he had a divine intervention or smt and decided to chop up his locks…and thus, a legend was born. Yum!
3. Ilija Bozoljac
My Serbian neighbor may not be ranked high in the ATP, but he is one of the hottest players on tour. I think that pictures speak louder than words in this case
4. Paul-Henri Mathieu
He doesn’t have rock hard abs or an amazingly pretty face, but he is fiiiiiiiiiine. His puppy-dog eyes can melt just about any iceberg, and he is just so darn cute I can’t help but “awww” every time I see him
5. Dmitry Tursunov
How did a blond end up on my hottest of the hot list?! By being a Greek god reincarnate, that’s how! Funny, sarcastic, built like a Greek sculpture…no girl’s heart/hormones can stand a chance around this guy!
Top 5 favorite male tennis players
1. Marat Safin
The one and only Russian roller-coaster. For someone who had several strokes during his matches, you’d think I’d be relieved to see him retired…but being the masochist that I am, frankly I miss watching that mental midget self destruct on court.
2. Jose ‘Chucho’ Acasuso
Not a top10 player….ok, so his career high was 20 and now he is out injured…but I’ve always thought he has tremendous talent….he’s just not very…driven…consistent…mentally strong
But just that one brilliant shot per match is worth it.
3. Mario Ancic
Oh, Mario, Mario, Mario…he was good…he had the serve, he had the volley, he had the talent….he also had mono and that’s where it all went to hell. I don’t really know what he’s been up to lately, but I hope he’ll be able to get his form back…while we’re all still young and he’s still hot, I mean talented
4. Novak Djokovic
Finally, someone who has been consistent these past couple of years. Love him on court and off court. I especially love his sense of humor. Some think he takes it too far at times, but I totally get him. Maybe one day he’ll be number 2 on my list…but that’s as far as he could ever go, cause no one will ever be able to replace Marat
5. Paul-Henri Mathieu
Yet another mental midget…starting to see a pattern here?
I guess it’s just more entertaining this way. This guy is really nice to watch, until he has a complete meltdown that is. He tends to be a little anti-social off court. I swear in almost every picture he takes with fans he looks like a deer in the headlights
But it’s just part of his charm
I know this top5 appears to be based on looks, but it’s not, trust me. That would be a totally different top5

What’s your top5 based on looks ?
Aug 20, 2010 @ 12:58:31
Nope. They’re all pretty, I admit (except maybe for Nole, he’s not pretty in a classic way). My top is based on how their tennis, the way they play makes me feel. I love watching tennis, it gives me a very nice feeling. For example, whenever I watched Safin play it would be like a crazy ride. I’d be excited by some of the brilliant shots he made, then mad because he would make stupid mistakes. I’d get so nervous around break points and other important moments. I’d shout in front of the tv like a mad person. But it was amazing. After a match I’d feel like I’d just spent 3 hours in an amusement park
So that is what my top is based on. How their tennis makes me feel, how involved I get in their matches. I’ll do a top5 hottest male tennis players one day, though
Oh, and I am sucker for raw talent. Even if a player isn’t very consistent, or disciplined, that raw talent makes him perform some pretty incredible shots at times. Take Gulbis, for instance (if you know him). He isn’t at all disciplined, he can lose a match simply on a whim, but he has tremendous talent, and that makes him hit some spectacular shots. That’s what I love most about tennis. Those perfect, unbelievable shots that you’re sometimes lucky enough to witness. Art!

I always thought Haas looked like Mauresmo.
Mathieu, really??? Why? And where is Mardy? :p
Djokovic: “Love him on court and off court”? You are mad
Sep 04, 2010 @ 17:16:26
No, no. Mauresmo looks like Haas
Haas would make an ugly woman, but he’s a damn fine man
And what is wrong with my Paul-Henri? I like Mardy, but he’s not top5 material yet
And Nole is such a nice person, you are mad for hating him
